GAY PEOPLE'S CHRONICLE 11

Student activists to meet in Cleveland December 2

On Saturday, December 2, the Cleveland Lesbian Gay Center will be sponsoring "Queer U.," a day-long workshop designed for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender campus organizers. A mere $5 covers the cost of the conference and includes a continental breakfast and lunch. The conference will give campus organizers an opportunity to network and meet people from other college gay-lesbian-bisexual organizations, provide groups with the tools, support and new ideas to help them continue to grow, and offer ideas on how to start a gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender (and straight) alliance on campus.

The day begins at 9:00 am and will continue until 5:00 pm. The center is located at 1418 W. 29th St. at Detroit in Cleveland. Call 216-522-1999 to register.
